As MIRA’s staff attorney, Shana Nissan works with immigrants and asylum-seekers to help advocate for their right to live and work in the United States. At MIRA, we provide assistance in applying for asylum, work authorization, adjustment of status, and naturalization. We also work to secure lawful status for survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and other crimes.
She received my Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University in 2017, and received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2021. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois.
